Kuala Lumpur in …

Two Days
Start your day with coffee and a copy of the New Straits Times before walking to Merdeka Square and the Masjid Jamek. Afterwards walk through Chinatown to admire its shophouses, the Sri Mahamariamman Temple and the Taoist Sze Yah Temple.

Watch Kuala Lumpur revolve around you while dining at the Seri Angkasa high up in the Kuala Lumpur Tower, followed by an evening drink in one of the many bars in the Golden Triangle.

The Petronas Towers and shopping in Suria KLCC are highlights of the second day, with lunch in Jl Changkat Bukit Bintang, followed by a visit to the Thean Hou Temple, and then dinner and a drink in Bangsar.

Three Days
Follow the two-day itinerary, and on your third day hop onto the LRT to Kuala Lumpur Sentral and walk to the National Museum and Lake Gardens with its vast Bird Park and other attractions. Sample a Nonya lunch in the Peranankan setting of the Kapitan’s Club before returning to the heart of Chinatown to browse through Jl Petaling Market. Dine at one of the area’s many Chinese eateries.
