Travel Malaysia Itinerary: 2 Weeks Peninsular Malaysia Tour
If you’ve only two weeks to spare, then it is best to stick to either coast of the Peninsular. Those interested in city life should stick to the west coast, spending four days in Kuala Lumpur, a couple of days each in Penang and Melaka. This will leave you a few days spare to add in a trip to the Cameron Highlands.
If it’s the great Malaysian jungle you’ve come to see, then top of your list should be Taman Negara; four days will allow you to get the most out of the park, including spending a night or two in a jungle hide for wildlife spotting.
Confining yourself to the east coast, you could go straight from KL to Kota Bahru and then work your way down the coast taking in Kuala Terengganu and Pulau Perhentian for a few days.
