i took the first class from sin to KL..it had no problem so i decided to buy the ticket back from KL to Sin but it’s not the first class..it’s really u got what u paid ..coz it seems this bus company has a good service only on the first class !!!
1. came late more than an hour without informed anything!!!
2. bus driver smoked on the bus !!!! he’s a FAT INDIAN driver !!!! i hv complained to the bus company but the manager there said this bus driver is nt belongs to his company ?? what the hell is he meant???!!! no responsibility just kick the shit out of themself..
3. ” IT ” dropped all the passenger at the woodlands checkpoints instead of the bus terminal as it said !! ( i use ” IT ” to call them coz human will not do this kind of thing!! )

very very bad service and low class than the local bus in the poor country!! cheated ppl by wrote down that will drop at the terminal but actually drop half way at the border !!! what the hell this company ! never ever again..good bye

Yes. Agree with all of you above. The bus i taken last time is delay 1 hour.. and the thing made me angry is the attitude of the bus ticket collecter.. he requierd us to pay more since the bus is more ‘deluxe’.. some passangers do not want pay, he ask them to get down from bus.. what kind of service?? we are paid..but we still need get such ’shit’ service..5 stars buses.. never and ever.

well, after readin the horrible news about transtar, i decided not to go with them.
the buses do look real good on the pics, but if they are not the ones that are being used, then why charge so much??

Was travelled with Transtar- 1st class Solataire- 18 seater..

The Pasar Rakyat station is ulu.. not convenience..

The bus end up delay for 35 min… without proper arrangement and explaination to passnger… Just wait without knowing what happening.

so call 1st class…….. only for the price

u know what transtar is really bad service … the bus driver is so rude, stupid bus driver…. but the bus are very special ….TAPI COMPANY TETAP MACAM BODOH ……. SSSSTTTTUUUPPPIIIDDD

I have to agree that you are definitely NOT getting the service or the quality that you expect to get for the premium price you pay to travel with Transtar. Firstly the quality of their bus is very very poor, I can’t believe how old and disgusting it was, all cushioning flattened, leather chair feels and look dirty, problems with video/audio media player, half a dozen people on the bus asked for exchange of headphones. We sat at the back of the bus and it smelt disgusting. I feel that we have been ripped off. They should not advertise thier busses as they do on their website and brochures if this is the true quality that you end up getting. Maybe we got an old bus, but we could have paid less than 1/3 the price for a nicer more comfortable couch.

Never again.

I am also sorry for the next person who goes on Transtar and is deceived by their marketing. First class my a#%^&.

I was Sexually assaulted while sleeping on a transtar travel bus from Singapore by the bus driver. When I ran out of the bus I noticed that he had also taken my cell phone.
I called the Transtar office many times to complain and to get help. They never did anything, they never even called me back.

Please stay away from this bus company they are criminals and do not care at all for your safety.

The Transtar bus service is of very poor quality these days. Terrible bus company.

Was better when it first started years ago, with new buses and good marketing, but now such a bad attitude on the part of the staff, especially driver and assistant. Last time I was on it, the assistant threw my bag, causing it to split open and just stood there, while another passenger helped me put things back in.

At the counter in KL, the staff refused to tell me a telephone number for any KL cabs or even the telephone operator number, saying: “We don’t provide such service”. He insisted that I must take one of the overpriced taxis standing outside. The arrogance of these Transtar staff is matched by the rundown quality of the buses. Why do people still try to take this service? Must be they remember the marketing from before.

Sorry for the next person who goes Transtar.

Agreed with Alvin. The Transtar coach was at least half an hour late and stopped at JB and KL to pick up passengers. Worse, the driver even wanted us to change coach halfway! Before that, the air con didn’t work well, we were all very stuffy inside the coach. Lousy service. Been to Malaysia many times on coach before, and never encountered such service before until the second time we took Transtar.
