Thanks. I’m glad I found out that they don’t stamp your passport when you enter Malaysia. Customs at KL Airport asked why I didn’t have an entry stamp and I told them I got the train from Singapore. The customs man nodded his head to suggest he has seen this many times before.

I’m planning to take a travel from Singapore to KL either by bus or train. I’ll be with my wife and our 5-year old kid (plus big bags).

After learning from the internet, taking bus is not convenient, because we have to drop off and change the bus twice: 1) at Singapore exit immigration authorithy and 2) at Malaysian entrance immigration in Johor Baru.

How about the immigration checking in the train?

Hi,
Still cant figure out the cost and the frequencies of the train from Singapre to KL.
I was under the impression that there were 3 trips on that route in a day.
Can someone tell me the correct website?

I am planning to visit KL with my family sometime Dec09.
Can anyone tell me the following:
a. what’s a reasonable price hotel to stay in KL where is it near the KL train station(I under that it is call Sentral KL station). I intend to travel to KL from Singapore in the morning and return on the morning too.
b. any recommendation on the train class that I shoudl ride?

what is the fair for 16month infant in night sleeper train from singapore to KL.Is he free or we have to take the seat and tiket for him.?

i was inquring whether the rate for primiere night deluxe from kl to singapore and singapore to Kl is the same..

Or is it… 180 RM from kl to singapore and 180 sgd from singapore to Kl..

Please if anybody have the knowledge in this matter , it is deeply appreciated

Hi! What is the cheapest yet comfortable way to get to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore and back to Singapore? Or from Singapore — to KL — to Bangkok — to Singapore? Thanks!
