Nightlife in KL – Drinking, Clubbing, Supper
There’s no doubt that Kuala Lumpur’s club scene is the most vibrant and diverse in South East Asia (in my opinion, much better than Singapore!). Not only do the city’s clubs have a great mix of music, but on occasion play host to some of the world’s best (and hottest new) DJs.
With the resurgence of hip-hop and a whole host of new ‘retro’ venues, it’s also ever changing, as clubs open and close with regular frequency. Not surprising then that even the most loyal of club folk have to trawl through the listings of publications like Klue (www.Klue.com.my) just to keep apace of what’s going on. Whatever your musical tastes, be it trance, garage, techno, indie, R’n’B or good old fashioned 70s/80s nostalgia, it’s easy to find a venue in which serious fun can be had.
This is a cut-to-the-chase travel guide to the hot spots to hit in Kuala Lumpur, its best nightlife areas; the clubs, the pubs and bars, and where to get a supper to fill up the tummy after a night out! In short, it’s just about everything one needs to know, especially for those visiting on long weekend jaunts who have a limited amount of time in town and want to experience the highlights.

I have to agree. Haven’t been out clubbing in a while though.
