KL Hotels Guide

There’s a wide range of KL hotels offering decent rooms from $20 to $500 a night, some of these KL hotels are only steps from the major sights. You’ll probably find a suitable room you can afford right near the Golden Triangle and Chinatown.

  • Budget KL Hotels
Some of the cheapest beds in Kuala Lumpur are in hostels, only a few minutes’ walk from the Chinatown and most of the city’s top sights.
  • Mid-Range KL Hotels
Mid-range KL hotels offer excellent comfort and convenience at moderate rates.
  • Top End KL Hotels
Kuala Lumpur has a very good selection of international-chain hotels.

  3. Some hotels in Malaysia are great, others should be avoided. I had an awful experience at the Heeren Hotel in Melaka. The hotel had bed bugs.

Bed bugs are a more common problem than people are aware of - including the hotel owners themselves. I think there should be a campaign in Malaysia (and other countries) to infomm hotel owners about pest control, specifically bed bugs which are a growing problem around the world. Jake.
