Here are more choices of budget hostels & hotels if you couldn’t get a desired bed in the suggested KL Budget Hotels & Hostels guide.

Backpackers Travellers Lodge
The cheapest rooms at this popular establishment are windowless doubles; doubles with shower are large, but pricey for what you get. There’s TV lounge and internet access (not cheap).
Location: 1st Flr, 158 Jl Tun HS Lee

Backpackers Travellers Inn
This is a relatively clean, popular and well-run place, albeit cramped with windowless rooms. It has an excellent location, a great rooftop bar, nightly movies, TV and cooking facilities.
Location: 60 Jl Sultan
Tel: 2078 2473

Le Mun Guest House
Right in the heart of Chinatown, this no-frills hotel is fun, cheap, place although the cardboard partition walls compromise privacy. Clean and communal toilet. The entrance is on Jl Sultan.
Location: 5th Flr, 109 Jl Petaling
Tel: 2078 0639

YWCA
Very quiet establishment tucked away east of Chinatown, with plain but acceptable rooms (fan and bathroom) for women or married couples.

Chinatown Guest House
Simple but amiable establishment.
Location: Wisma BWT, 103 Jl Petaling

Anuja Backpackers Inn
Convenient location opposite Puduraya bus station with fine rooftop beer garden and evening movies.

Hotel Excel Inn
Clean, neat, all rooms (windowless) with aircon, shower room, TV and phones, upper rooms away from noise outside.
